Arctic Week in Bodø, North Norway, May 24-26

At the end of May 2016, Arctic Business and the High North Dialogue Conference 2016 gather high-level business leaders, policy-makers and Arctic professionals in Bodø, North Norway to set the future Arctic agenda.

Under the midnight sun, Bodø invites you to participate in debating the future priorities of the Arctic region and how business interests, political agendas and research can converge to the benefit of Arctic communities. Initiated by the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association,Arctic Business convenes as an arena by businesses, for businesses, to discuss future development trends and opportunities. The inaugural Arctic Business conference and Arctic Business Council summit was held in October 2014 with more than 130 CEOs, business owners and senior business executives participating.

Simultaneously, theHigh North Dialogue Conference will be taking place at Nord University under the theme ‘The Blue Future of the Arctic’, engaging a wider audience of researchers and future leaders of the region. It will address the necessary questions to effectively promote dialogue between interested stakeholders on how to sustainably develop the different realities of the many Arctics.
